Last time I finished the $2580 package, I really felt that the CP value was super high, so I came for the second time in less than a month, this time I chose the $3800 item. Because the interval is very short, some dishes are repeated, this time it is better to eat the differences in different prices. The following is only for the description of different dishes.

Different parts

Bird shell

The taste is sweet and crisp, the bite is a little elastic, and the taste is clean.

Pine leaf crab, honeysuckle

Matsuba crab is paired with crab paste, and the bottom is mixed with cold needle flower salad. The richness of crab paste contrasts with the freshness of the floral fragrance, which is quite a special combination.

Chibei

The meat is soft, the taste is rich, the taste is delicious, and there will be no excessive fishy smell.

Plaice, braised plaice fin side meat

This time I ate Hokkaido Matsukawa plaice, the taste is more elastic than last time, and the aroma of burnt fat makes the fin meat particularly charming.

Dream Chaser Oyster

2025 Japan Oyster Competition Gold Award. The figure is fat and strong, the bite is full of elasticity, and the umami is thick.

Fried tuna (for appetizers)

The part of the tuna blood and flesh that is close to the middle bone is used. Although it is usually discarded because of its appearance and fishy smell, the wine and vegetables that are made into fried food are not bad.

Horse mackerel roll

This time it became a horse mackerel roll, with a refreshing taste. However, I personally prefer the horse mackerel nigiri sushi last time.

Tuna belly

A luxurious experience that is only available at 3800, and you can eat a big belly, mid-abdomen and naked body in a set meal. It's so enjoyable!

Peony shrimp

Put caviar and shrimp miso on it, and the sweet shrimp meat is matched with a rich sauce, which is rich in layers and a very special combination.

White eel

It's not my preferred fish species. Although the seasoning is good, I personally have no feelings for eel.

Abalone, sea cucumber, green bamboo shoots soup

The abalone is fat and rich in seafood, but compared to the last tea bowl steaming, I prefer the fineness of the tea bowl steaming.

Shrimp head Miso soup

Well-behaved, there is no special memory point.

Overall dining experience and personal feelings

This time I ate the $3800 set meal, the number of dishes increased significantly, and the sense of satiety was higher than last time. The second visit in less than a month allowed me to compare the differences in different price points. Overall, whether it is $2580 or $3800, Sushi Yeji's CP value is very high, and it is rare to be able to eat omakase with ingenuity and stable quality at a reasonable price.

If you have a small appetite,$2580 would be a great choice; but if you want to eat more completely and experience more variety,$3800 is also worth it. I look forward to encountering more different surprises when I visit again next time.

The charm of sushi Yeji lies not only in the ingredients themselves, but also in the fineness of the master's handling of the fish and the sharing when interacting with the guests. Whether it is a first visit or a second visit, you can feel the stable quality and ultra-high CP value.

Choosy Chou

Hi, this is Chou Chou. Because I have always been "picky" about good things, I founded Choosy Chou to record and share the food, flavors and travel experiences that are truly worthy of being remembered. I am a food and flavor explorer, from street food to Michelin restaurants, from hidden bars to boutique cafes, I like to use my professional senses to taste, understand and compare, rather than just taking pictures and checking in. I have WSET Wine Level 2, WSET Sake Level 1, SSI Sake Navigator, and Coffee CSP Sensory Skill Foundation licenses. I hope to use a more systematic way to show you the flavor value behind a glass of wine and a dish. I have traveled to many countries such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, Iceland, and the United Kingdom. I believe that the most authentic language in the world is hidden on the table and in the cup. Choosy is not picky, but an insistence on the quality of life.
