Specially selected for Christmas EveBaho Wagyu Yakiniku Specialty StoreDining, this restaurant is located in the heart of Taipei City and has been recommended by the Michelin Guide. It is known for its top-of-the-line wagyu beef and attentive roasting service. The entrance of the store is decorated with a gorgeous Christmas tree, which adds a strong festive atmosphere.

This experience is a limited set meal for two during Christmas and New Year. This article will introduce this dining experience in detail, including the details of the cuisine, meal matching, and the overall dining experience. It is for reference for friends who like wagyu roast meat.

Appetizer

Stain combination

Sesame cucumber, grapefruit radish, and Korean kimchi are well-behaved as a whole. There are no special surprises but they are refreshing and appetizing.

Chef's Salad of the day

It's just a plate of lettuce salad, but the setting is exquisite, and the clerk will help with the packing, and the detailed service will add points.

Baho Raw Beef Hand Roll

Raw beef is paired with crispy old fritters, with Shanghai moss on the bottom, and the taste is rich in layers. It has both the sweetness of beef and a little crispy surprise.

Barbecue meat

Scallion salt beef tongue

The slices are evenly sliced, the scallions and salt are moderately seasoned, and the heat of the roast is controlled just right by the clerk to retain the elasticity and gravy of the beef tongue.

Wagyu platter of the day

It includes New Yorkers, shoulder triangle, diaphragm, and carefully selected five flowers. Each piece of meat is evenly distributed with oily flowers, and the taste is smooth and tender. There is a special person to roast it on your behalf. Don't worry about the lack of skills. It tastes very reassuring.

Baho Diamond Burning(Recommended! )

Wagyu beef is paired with Miaoli ganoderma eggs and sea urchins. It has a rich taste. The sweetness of the egg yolk and sea urchins enhances the layering of the beef and the taste is smooth. It is a delicate roast meat.

Limited thick-cut beef tongue(Highly recommended! )

I originally wanted to order Chateaubriand, but it was out of stock on the same day. I changed to the thick-cut beef tongue recommended by the clerk. I don't regret it at all! The thick taste is satisfying, and the roasting technique is even more perfect. The outer layer is slightly crispy, and the inside is soft and tender, which is impressive.

Staple food

Eight and Queen pie

The meringue is wrapped in wagyu beef and fermented tofu. The concept is innovative, but the flavor is not particularly eye-catching, and the overall taste is light.

Shabu-shabu wagyu beef soup

Beef slices are topped with a soup made of beef bones and chicken bones. The soup base is rich and the beef is soft and tender. It is suitable as a heart-warming dish that can change flavors.

Beef bone marrow rice

For the first time, I tried beef bone marrow with rice. The thick fat of beef bone marrow is combined with rice, which has a unique aroma, but it may be a little greasy when eaten too much. It is suitable for staggered tasting with other main dishes.

Handmade sesame pudding

The rich aroma of sesame seeds has a smooth and delicate taste. It is just the end of the roast meat, balancing the greasy feeling in front of it.

Personal feelings

The ingredients are advanced, the quality of wagyu beef is a cinch, and the collocation method is also creative. Dedicated baking makes the dining experience more relaxing, and there is no need to worry about technology affecting the deliciousness. The service is attentive, from the salad dispensing to the commentary during the barbecue, people feel professional.

However, it is difficult to make a reservation. If you want to make an appointment in advance, it is basically impossible to eat temporarily.
The creativity of some dishes is greater than the taste, such as Queen Yahwa Pie and beef bone marrow rice. The concept is interesting but the flavor is not particularly amazing.

Overall, Yahe is indeed one of the outstanding representatives of high-end wagyu yakiniku in Taipei. Although the creative execution of some dishes is slightly weaker, it still performs well in terms of yakiniku, substitute roasting and service quality. It is worth a return visit!

Choosy Chou

Hi, this is Chou Chou. Because I have always been "picky" about good things, I founded Choosy Chou to record and share the food, flavors and travel experiences that are truly worthy of being remembered. I am a food and flavor explorer, from street food to Michelin restaurants, from hidden bars to boutique cafes, I like to use my professional senses to taste, understand and compare, rather than just taking pictures and checking in. I have WSET Wine Level 2, WSET Sake Level 1, SSI Sake Navigator, and Coffee CSP Sensory Skill Foundation licenses. I hope to use a more systematic way to show you the flavor value behind a glass of wine and a dish. I have traveled to many countries such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, Iceland, and the United Kingdom.
